Sage 300 ERP integration with CRM

A client is running Sage 300 2012 with CRM integration. The site had been stable until December 16th and now throughout the day, when using CRM and doing the drill down into All Orders from the O/E Inquiry and clicking the Drill Down to show the custom page the user will get an error stating :

Could Not Find the Sage 300 ERP O/E Files

Error returned: Internal error unable to use PO ini file  (12547 OEORDH1.C)

However, if you access the Portal via IE it is running.  To date, the solution has been to restart Tomcat but that solution will last maybe 5 minutes before it happens again and again throughout the day.

Sage 2012 PU 3 installed, CRM 7.2c.

Any ideas before we reinstall.

We also had a client with this issue. Sage 300 ERP 2012 with CRM 7.2 on 2008R2 server. stripped and reinstalled but no glory. Spun up a 2012 server and moved everything over to clear the issue. Never did figure out why. Tomas is correct this is a ERP web deploy and both the web deploy and the portal must be working. Also not the portal for ERP 2012 is not Server 2012R2 compliant.

Steve - this is a freaking nightmare for me as this is one of our largest sites.  Everything was working fine for 1 1/2 to 2 years until 12/16 and now it's non-stop errors.  Who knows, maybe I'll by them a new server and see if that works but if it doesn't they are going to be more *** off than they are now.

    Hi Lloyd,

What you are saying about restarting Tomcat to make this work temporarily, makes no sense at all since Tomcat is not being used for that functionality. You can try to re-run the Webdeployment Manager (as adminstrator), and increase the Maximum Number of  Sage 300 ERP Server Objects. This value controls how many web screens can be open at the same time through webdeployment, and might help to resove the issue. However, there is a balance between functionality and server load in setting this value. The higher the value, the more sceens they can have open at the same time, but this also puts a higher load on the server.

Please consider that this does not change Windows Server 2008 being an unsupported environment for this install. It would be highly advisable for this customer to at least upgrade their server to 2008 R2 to meet minimum requirements.

Server 2008 was removed from the support matrix for a good reason. If Sage CRM 7.2 would had passed QA testing as fully functional under that environment, it would have still been listed as a valid platform. However, looking at the most current verison of the support matrix, we can see that it's not listed.
