Multiple Office Installs - Export to Excel Option Available but Excel Does Not Launch

SOLVED

I have a client running Sage 500 2019..   Excel 2010 was originally installed on the server.   Export to Excel worked.    However, someone tried installing Excel from Office 365.   They didn't have the correct licensing for Office.    Office 365 was uninstalled and Excel 2010 remains.   

Business Explorer correctly creates the tmp file for the Export but Excel fails to launch.   

Any suggestions to fix without reinstalling the OS.

    Reading you post, it does not mention Re-installing Excel 2010 you state that Excel 2010 remains...

    I would try re-installing excel 2010.

    You can search your registry for this "Excel.Application" and see what version it thinks is there. I think 365 shows up at 15 or 16...

    I am thinking something in the registry related to the Excel.Application class is changed to something that is not valid for Excel 2010.

    Kevin,. Sorry I forgot to mention this.  I did try a reinstall but it made no difference.
