Hello Sabian,
Is it possible the attempt to copy the rpt file was redirected to a virtualstore folder? Something like:(C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
-Tony
Hi Tony,
I am not sure how i'd know that if that were the case.
I have two windows explorer windows open, one pointing to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Software\Sage MAS 500 Client\SO and the other pointing to F:\MAS 500\SO (our shared resource).
I drag the file from the shared resource to the local folder, it copies, but yet opens like it was never overridden.
As Dogbert says did you change your app.config file then reboot? Rebooting often cures weird ills like this. Worth a shot.
yep, that was already did. i even deleted the destination file so that the source file would not be overriding anything. it still opened to the default soztc001.rpt file!!
it's as if crystal's cache isn't updating? if there is such a thing?
i opened the correct file from the shared resource and "saved as" into the local resource. apparently that's what it needed.
