So I have a somewhat interesting issue with one of our users and I will admit that I have little experience supporting Sage. She reported that Sage 50 was freezing on the maintain customers/prospects screen but it was only happening in the morning. After around 10 or 11 it would stop and she wouldn't have any more issues until the next day. The company file is hosted on a network share rather than her computer. 

Details:

Client OS - Windows 7 Professional

Sage - Sage 50 Accounting 2017', Version: '24.01.01

Tried:

Repair of Sage (got an error WNetAddConnection2 (66) gave an error while trying to map the drive. but appeared to complete properly)

Driver Updates

Malware Scan (Found and removed some)

Running windows updates currently. 

Rebooting the machine. 

The only thing that we found that worked for a longer period of time was uninstalling and reinstalling both Sage 50 Accounting and the Payroll Wizard. There was an error 1905 for some bits of Pervasive but they didn't stop the uninstall or reinstall of the software. We did this on Tuesday of last week and didn't hear back from her about it until today when she told us it was happening again. I went ahead and did another reinstall and confirmed the issue wasn't happening again so she could work while I could research the issue further.
