If you cancel the subscription plan you will not be able to enter transactions anymore. The only way you can continue to use Sage 50 without being on a plan is to purchase the software which is different than buying a subscription. If you go directly to Sage they only offer subscription plans.  If you want to purchase to own, you will need to buy through a Sage Authorized Solution Provider Partner channel.   

Yes I understand and we just no longer need the product anymore because we out source all accounting work already 

Now we just need to print some invoices and a excel would do that just fine 

I just cannot believe that the only option to cancel is by phone call , we use a lot of cloud base subscription service and they always have a cancel button some where 

For the past few months, I have tried calling Sage at 1-866-996-7243, but the message says no one is available to help and I should leave my number for callback.  I have left my number for callback numerous times over the past few months but no one returns my call.  This leads me to believe that Sage disallows cancellation of the subscription.  Once they have your credit card number, you cannot ever cancel your subscription.  Sage has the worst customer service and most deceitful sales tactics I've ever experienced.

Try calling 877-495-9904 instead.

Yes, the 20%-40% yearly increases are ridiculous.  Marketing crazies on the loose there.

I would suggest canceling in writing.  Reply back to your sage sales rep.
