Sage 50 and Sage 50 cloud are essentially the same program. Sage 50 cloud is just a new name for Sage 50c. The name change was meant to convey the idea that Sage 50 (a desktop application) his links to several cloud applications, such as MS Office 365, Paya (formerly Sage Payment Solutions) Sage One, and Sage Drive. So there's really no migration, it's just a change in licensing that unlocks "cloud connected" features in Sage 50 cloud. I'm not trying to steer you away from Sage 50 cloud, it's just important to understand that it is still a desktop application.

Once you have that, you would go to File> Sage Drive and set up the users, then share the data. 

So, you are saying that the cranky clunky freezy crashy Sage 50 US, that we use now, spending hours waiting on the phone to talk with technicians scratching their heads, would be no different, if we paid extra for the cloud version?
