My customer has Sage 50 Accounting 2018 and it won't install updates.

She has Win 7 Prof on SVC Pack 1.  Would that be a reason for the Sage update not working? Or upgrade her to Win 10, since maybe the 2018 software isn't compatible with Win 7? Thanks.

    So with Sage Business Care you get updates for one year from date of purchase.   Was your customer ENTITLED to the update.  Maybe not.    Sage 50 2018 is compatible with Windows 7, that is not your issue. 

    To get updates you open Sage 50. Go to the  Services Tab > Check for updates.  It would say "Entitled" beside them if they are part of her business care plan.
