Is There A Way To View (only) A Sage 50 (or backup) File After Changing To Another Accounting Software Solution?

SUGGESTED

Hi everyone!

Given:

We used to subscribe to Sage 50 Cloud

Background:

We recently had our super-duper accountant move on and her replacement... yeah.   Anyway, the replacement would never be able to comprehend SAGE 50, yeah, more of a simple Quicken type person.  That's ok, were are just a small non-profit and its working for the replacement.

Not using Sage products (50) anymore, we dropped our subscription last summer.

Well, now she needs to look at past records to answer questions people have.  She is not able to install software on a PC, so I am trying to find a solution for her.

Question:

1)  Is there anything that would open a Sage 50 file (or even a backup file, I know we have those stored on-site), so she can Search transactions by date, vendor, payee, etc. to answer the questions that come up?

2)  Does anyone know of a utility program that might open or convert Sage 50 to something less expensive or even free (if that's legal :-0

3)  If 1) is not possible, does Sage offer a solution that would only let us open already created files and search for transactions (do not need to enter any new data).

help.

Many thanks!
