Delete transaction

Question

when deleting a transaction Is the data updated in the GL? 
 I am asked to delete some transactions from the previous year and I am not sure if the Ending Balance will be updated

If it is an open year or an open period in Sage 50, you will be able to delete the transaction. If it is NOT an open period you may void the transaction, but it will need to be voided in one of the open periods.
