Hey what bug are you referring to? I just tried to upgrade to 2021 and now my Sage Server is completely . Followed an unhelpful kb regarding uninstalling and reinstalling actian and that did nothing.

There's multiple major issues at this point that I would classify critical.  I am running into a CPU usage leak that pretty much makes a users computer unusable if trying to access over a network.

Mine isn't even getting through the install, hangs and crashes on a 0x0.......   DLL something can't run applysettings.blahblah   ugh

We also found multiple bugs, errors and glitches with 2021.0. Just rolled back to 2020.2 after having a disastrous day with Sage 50. The good news is we discovered our mistake of installing the update prematurely and only had to re-enter our transactions for one day.  We plan to remain using this version until 2021.1 is released and worked through by other users.

The instability you reference is also apparent on a non-network environment as well.

I applied the update 2021.0 and now it's Saturday (billing) and my sage software is nowhere to be found.
My files are there and the update exe is there but there is no sage icons on my desktop or exe's in the program files.

If anyone has a solution to disable the Sage 50 Update notification upon exit, it would certainly be valuable. Has anyone had a user, not on the server, or a non-owner click Yes and start the update process? Ouch!

Yes, and they can cancel when it starts to run. 

It's just a very poorly designed prompt.
