Account Reconciliation - Account Blank (no data showing)

When we come to close the prior month, we are finding that certain accounts (in particular our 'Operating Account') is showing no data when we attempt to reconcile the account. We can select other accounts from the drop down and the data displays, however it is just blank for this particular account. We have checked the GL and all the data is visible there. This is becoming increasingly frustrating the last 3 months. Sometimes we check and it appears. It is 'hit and miss'. Right now we have not been able to get the data to appear since yesterday morning. All other accounts show fine.

    Have you tried running a data verification? Get everyone out of Sage 50. Then open Sage 50 at the server. Switch to period 1. Go to the File menu and choose Data Verification. Select the "Both Tests" option and simply follow the prompts through the rest of the process.

    If that doesn't work, the next step is to try a Chart of Accounts / Journal Synchronization test. Here are the steps copied from the Sage 50 knowledgebase.

    1. Change your accounting period to Period 1, follow Article ID 11440: How do I change the accounting period?
    2. Select Help, Support Utilities, and then select Integrity Check.
    3. Click Backup.
    4. Give your backup a name, choose where you would like to save it, and then click Save.
    5. Click OK in the box that tells you the size of the backup.
    6. Select Reindex Files box, from the Reindex File List select Chart, and then click OK.
    7. When the test is finished, select Help, Support Utilities, and Integrity Check.
    8. Select Continue, Reindex Files box, from the Reindex File List select Jrnl Header, and then click OK.
    9. When the test is finished, select Help, Support Utilities, and Integrity Check.
    10. Select Continue, Reindex Files box, from the Reindex File List select Jrnl Rows, and then click OK.
    11. When the test is finished, select Help, Support Utilities, and Integrity Check.
    12. Select Continue, Chart of Accounts/Journal box under the Data Synchronization Tests section, and then click OK.

    Thanks . I have tried that with no success. We can see the other accounts, but there is one particular account that doesn't display and it happens to be the main 'Operating Account. This has been happening the last 3 months when we have come to close the month. This time it is the longest that it shows nothing. Last month it was a day. We tried one day with no luck, the next day worked fine. This time we are on our 3rd day. We are just waiting on Sage Support, but they are very slow and unresponsive. Glad of any other suggestions

    Are you using Bank Feeds? 

    Are you getting any error messages?   

    What year is the program on?  2020 version?

    We are on 2020. We go to 'Reconcile Accounts' under 'Banking' and then select the account from the dropdown. We get no error messages.
