That depends on exactly what you're referring to. If you're talking about having to put in a password when you switch companies, there's a setting in Options menu > Global. Go to the General tab and check the box next to "Remember my login when switching between companies." In order for that to work, you must have the same username and password in each company.
But if you're talking about putting in a password to access your company when you first open Sage 50, you would have to go into Maintain > Users > Set Up Security and delete all user names and passwords from the company to be able to access it without a password.

I didn't know about the live qa. NO, I am the only one that uses Sage and I don't use it remotely nor sharing with anyone.
