We recently upgraded to Sage 50 Accounting 2021. The upgrade went well. Having an issue/question with client upgrade. We are running a Server/Workstation environment. Windows 2008 R2 (Server) and Windows 10 workstations.
Currently most of our users are remote. When i upgraded the client on their machines, the path to the data on the server came up as a UNC path instead of a Mapped Drive. When they start the program, it finds the company data by the UNC path. Our remote users are starting to see issues when connecting to Sage that only started happening after upgrading to Accounting 2021.
What do I need to change to get the users to see the company data by Mapped Drive instead of UNC? I'm hoping that fixing this will help to resolve the problems we are seeing. Also, how can prevent this going forward?
