Sage 50 another sage 50 user or workstation is accessing this company area....

I need some help with this error message. Heres some brief details first,
Sage 50 is installed and data files hosted on a Windows 2016 Essentials server.

We have about 6 end users accessing it from Windows 10 Pro computers physically connected in the same office, same network vlan.

Over the past 2 weeks on 3 or 4 occasions the end users can't access the company file, sometimes can't even open Sage, sometiems cant log in. Last week they couldn't change the period from 2021 to 2022 because of the same error message. After rebooting all end user machines, restarting services on the server, the only thing that seems to fix it is a complete server reboot. Which is frustrating for many users, time consuming, and just not good.

Below is the error message, but it basically seems like something keeps hanging the file up and preventing anyone from accessing it. After all computers were rebooted, I get the same message trying to open the file directly on the server. When I look to see what users are logged in it don't show anyone, just the admin account.
