We have a client that is using a pre-2020 version of Sage. We are unable to restore the backup in 2020 because the version was too old. The only way to resolve this is to have the client purchase a new version or have Sage restore the backup to a new version at a $150 charge. We have never had this issue with QuickBooks. Very frustrating.
