We're having the exact same issue. I should have checked the forums before installing this update. Many other users seem to be having same issue. Very disappointing as a long time Sage customer.

After spending the Thanksgiving holiday as a work weekend, updating the server and 20 workstations, now I have to roll back to 2022. Very, very disappointing to another long time Sage customer.

As for rolling back to Sage 50 2022, that is an option, though it would require uninstalling both Sage 50 2023 and Actian Zen (which was updated alongside Sage 50 2023), then downloading and installing Sage 50 2022.  I will paste the relevant steps and links for that below.  Normally it is not possible to roll back to a prior version if you've converted your data to the new version, since the old version will no longer be able to open your converted company files.  However, since the upgrade from Sage 50 2022 to 2023 does not require a data conversion, you should be able to open and continue working in your companies in the 2022 version without issue.

I can confirm that the 2023 update caused the same issues on our network as well. Downgrading back to 2022 has solved the issue for now.

We are having the same issue. Company is around 2GB size and 24 users. We have to uninstall 2023 and reinstall 2022 on all those workstations. Very disappointed long time Sage customer, over 22 years!!

Sorry you are having to go through this but I'm glad I'm not alone now. Hopefully Sage will fix these issues.

2+ weeks later and still no update or plausible workaround? How did this even slip past QA? I have a very frustrated company that can't even access inventory or invoicing, let alone log in half the time because the program persistently freezes on every menu.

This just might be what pulls the trigger to move to Quickbooks. This has been an enormous waste of resources.

I've got bad news for you if your company has a large inventory. Quickbooks isn't going to cut it.

Your only option at this point is to downgrade back to 2022.
