Peachtree 2017 not registering if I have Peachtree 2021 installed

Hello,

I have a client who has Peachtree Version 2017 on their machine, as well as Peachtree 2021. Both were working together without an issue. Recently we had to remove 2017 due to a system error. We reinstalled it, but are now unable to register it online, and it will not open. If I uninstall Peachtree 2021, then 2017 will work without issue. Is there a way to use both versions on the same machine together like before?

    Hi .  Thank you for reaching out.  We are looking at a few different issues here.  Because 2017 is retired/inactive, once it is uninstalled it may not reinstall.  Then there is the issue where they run on two different database engines.  2017 runs on Pervasive and 2021 runs on Actian.  So, if they are not installing on the same machine, one will need to be installed on a different machine.  I hope this information helped.
