1. Resume Sharing: You'll need to log in to the computer that paused the sharing initially. Once logged in to Sage 50 on that computer, you can resume sharing the paused company.

2. Multiple Computers: If you're not sure which user paused sharing, you'll need to log in to Sage 50 on every computer that has access and try to resume sharing.

Alternatively, you can:

1. Stop and Reshare: Open the company in read-only mode on the computer that paused sharing. Go to File, then Remote Data Access to check if the data owner is listed. If not, switch the user to the data owner.
2. After verifying, select File, then Remote Data Access, and finally Stop Sharing. You can then reshare the company.

It is my computer, so logged in as read only, but under the remote Data Access it shows me as user, but the Stope Sharing option is grayed out, so can't slect

I misread your instructions, I am not the data owner, so I will get with him and have him enter his login credentials, and see if that works.

Also, do you know how to change the data owner? The current one is leaving the company and we need to change to someone else.
