    SUGGESTED

    Hi  ,

Thanks for reaching out with your question about managing old company files in Sage.  If you're finding that your list of companies in Sage 50 US is cluttered with selections you no longer use, there is a way to remove these from the 'Open Previous Company' or 'Open an existing company' lists.

I assume your question refers to this, but if not let us know.

Please proceed with caution, as this involves modifying the Windows Registry, which should only be done if you're comfortable with advanced system settings or with the assistance of a system administrator. Here's a brief overview:

    1. Backup your Registry.
    2. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to the Sage 50 entries.
    3. Delete the registry entries corresponding to the companies you want to remove.

If you're using Remote Data Access, please let us know, as the steps might differ.

For step-by-step guidance, including how to back up your registry and rename individual company folders to remove them from the Sage display, please refer to the full article on our help site.

If you need more personalized help or additional resources, don't hesitate to reach out.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi
