3 decimal points

SOLVED

Currently we have setup Sage 50 Quantum Accounting 2020 on a new PC but can't seem to be able to configure the 3 decimal points.

On the old PC it was working fine.

If we log in on the old PC it shows the amount with 3 decimals but if the same user logs in on the new PC it shows as 2 decimals.

I have updated the Global setting in Sage and the region setting on windows control panel but it is still not working.

Any support or guidance will be appreciated. Thank you

    Hi  ,

Thank you for reaching out. It seems you have already updated the global settings in Sage 50 US and the regional settings in the Windows Control Panel without success.

Could you please specify where or in what context within Sage 50 you are seeing the amounts displayed with only two decimal places instead of three? This information will help us pinpoint the setting that needs adjustment.

In the meantime, here's a summary of steps to ensure you've covered all bases:

    1. Sage 50 Settings: Go to Options > Global, and under 'Number of Decimal Places', set the desired number for various fields including 'Unit Price' and 'Standard' fields.

    2. Windows Regional Settings: Make sure that the 'No. of digits after decimal' is set correctly under both the 'Numbers' and 'Currency' tabs in the Control Panel's Region settings.

    3. Decimal Entry: In Sage 50, under Options > Global, check the 'Decimal Entry' setting to ensure it's set to 'Manual' if you want to enter decimals manually.

Please try these steps again, and if the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Sage support or using the 'Chat with support' feature for more personalized assistance.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi

    Thank you  for your response.

This is a screenshot of the screen, we need the amount to have 3 decimals.

When we updated the settings, it updated all other fields except the amount which is the most important field as our currency is based on 3 decimals.

Double-checking the region setting in the Windows Control Panel is a good step. Could you confirm that it is set to the correct format with 3 decimal points? Plus, get the perfect substitude of ios app in the form of scalet ios and make your task easy.
