    Hi  ,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the update issue. Here's a concise guide to help you proceed:

    1. Edit Hosts File: Make an entry with the IPv4 address and server name on the workstation's host file. Ensure your server has a static IP to avoid future issues. How to add a hosts file entry.

    2. Local Data Path: Use the Database Repair Utility for a local path setup and transfer the Forms folder if custom forms are used.

    3. Check Mapped Drive: Ensure the mapped drive isn’t using the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Use NET USE in command prompt to check and remap if needed.

    4. Remap to IP Address: Map the network drive using the server's IP address instead of the hostname.

    5. Prefer IPv4 over IPv6: Adjust Windows settings to prefer IPv4, which could resolve compatibility issues with the update. Prefer IPv4 over IPv6.

    6. Compatibility Mode: Run Sage 50 in compatibility mode for your current operating system.

If these steps are outside your comfort zone, please contact your system administrator or our support team for assistance. For immediate help, you can chat with our support team using this chat link.

    Warm Regards,
