Computer Networking and Sage 50

SUGGESTED

Several years ago, we bought Dell 5820s for workstations. They have been excellent on part of our network. However, on the distal end of our network, about 300 ft down a Cat 5 cable, when our warehouse workers tried to use Inventory Adjustments, and wait for the part numbers to populate, it took nearly 15 minutes to complete one inventory adjustment. Before that, we were using Dell T3610s, and we had NO TROUBLE at all with those machines. I know I can turn off the auto populate field and make them speed up, and I might do that temporarily until I can get an answer, but, i do not understand why this is happening. If memory serves me correct, (I'd have to look), the 3610s are running slower hard drives, and the 5820s are solid state screamers. The two individuals who do more of the accounting processing procedures have none of these problems. It's mainly inventory adjustments where this is happening. Does anyone have ANY IDEA what the differences are in computers that would be causing this? I have had a VERY QUALIFIED computer/ networking specialist out there, and after we ran a few tests, we have determined that there is no way this is a problem with networking hardware or configuration. This is something inside the computers or inside of Sage that is causing this problem, and I cannot find anyone who can offer any potential solutions, beyond the solution I mentioned at the start of my question.
