The credit card accounts payable does not match the credit card aged payables. I follows sage 50's instructions for this transaction.  1. Enter invoice from vendor using inventory, regular accounts payable 2. pay vendor via credit card by changing cash account to credit card liability account, (moves from regular accounts payable to credit card accounts payable. 3. The cost now shows up in credit card accounts payable account but does not show up on aging.  4. Pay credit card company credits cash and debits credit card accounts payable.  5. aged payables now matches because there is nothing in the credit card accounts payable account.  is there a better way of doing these transactions so that aged payables always matches the specific credit card accounts payable account?
