Sage 50—U.S. Edition 2024.0.1 update

Question

My "about Sage 50 Accounting" shows that I have "Release: Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2024 (SR-1)" that was done in December 2023. I've received an alert that I need to make sure I have the latest download Sage 50-U.S. Edition 2024.0.1 update. Are those the same? Because when I "check for updates" it tells me that there are no updates available at this time. The alert also states that I must have that 2024.0.1 update in order for 2nd January 2024 tax update to be installed. So, is "Release: Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2024 (SR-1)" the same as "Sage 50-U.S. Edition 2024.0.1".

No, they are not the same. There was a patch/update file released for Sage 50 2024, after the original release, that addressed some issues with Sage HR. You should install the Sage 50 2024.1 patch/update onto your server/host computer first, then on all workstations, while everyone is out of Sage 50. There is no data conversion after the update is installed.
