You must have the same installed version of Sage 50 on your computer as your client has installed. Also, your client has to add you as a User within the company and then grant access for you. Are you using a specific cloud service or platform for accessing the shared Sage50 file, and if so, have you checked if there are any tutorials or guides available for accessing files on that platform?
