cannot locate prior client in list of companies any longer?

    Click on Browse when opening your list of Companies, and if you still don't see your prior client in your list of Companies, there are three things that could be happening - (a) the Company.DAT file may be locked for that company; to find out, browse to that Company directory and look for CompanyX.DAT and rename it to just Company.Dat, or (b) you could have a damaged Company.DAT file, in which case a data repair company (like us) can assist you with that, or (c) you could have installed an upgrade and the prior client was from a version that is too old to be converted to your current version; our company can assist with interim conversions also.
