Export Peachtree companies with data and import into Sage 50 Accounting.

Question

I have been using the Peachtree for many years. How can I export the companies with data and import into Sage 50 Accounting? I read the support article 45965 below, but it doesn't really provide the exact details.

Can anyone provide the details on how I can convert the data? Thanks in advance.

Back up Peachtree. Move the backup to a flash drive. Move to the new computer and restore the file.
