Employee Stock rewards

An employee of a company received stock rewards in 2023, any insight on how to post that to employee wages and W2 form?

    Add a new Employee Field through Maintain, Default Information, Employees, on the Employee Fields tab, as a MEMO field, then add a new Payroll Check with nothing on it other than filing in the new MEMO field with the amount that you want to have appear on the W2 Form. Afterwards, go into Maintain, Default Information, Payroll Settings, and edit the Tax Fields for the W2 and add the new MEMO field to either Box 12 or Box 14.
