I would suggest that you have a look at the Bill of Materials report in Sage 50.  Make sure you pull in the qty on hand column.  Only assemblies will be listed and not only can you see which level each component is on, but you can also see if you have adequate stock to fill an order.  Beyond that, a BOM report could be written in Sage Intelligence.  Pro Tip: A BOM report is probably the most complicated type of report to write.

The BOM report only shows for each item - I'm looking for a way to get a list of stock items required to fill all open sales orders.  My issue is we sell the top assembly and the stock item may be 3-5 levels deep.
