The most important way to protect your sensitive information is to use passwords and user security in Sage BusinessWorks.

When deciding who should have access to your program it is important to ensure that they also are only having access to the information they are authorized to see. The best way to do this is by setting user security. User security is set per user per company so you need to make sure you grant users the appropriate rights to the desired company.  For more information regarding user rights see, How to set up and troubleshoot security and user access.

Besides user security it is also important to protect your data by using passwords to login to your Sage BusinessWorks program.  Starting in Sage BusinessWorks 2023 there is an option to force your users to use a password and there is also an option to force the use of a complex password.  For more information see What's new with Sage BusinessWorks 2023.
