Payroll

SUGGESTED

I was processing emails to send Payroll Direct Deposit Stubs. Outlook has locked up and is not functioning.  If I have to restart my computer, will I still be able to process the remainder of the emails in SBW Electronic Forms Manager?  I am concerned I will not be able to finish processing the emails or will be missing the one I was trying to send when Outlook stopped working.  Has anyone else experienced this?

    Joan-

Unfortunately, I cannot say if your Outlook would keep the file or not.  My thought is, it will not.  Once you hit email, BW send the file to Outlook and Outlook takes over.  BW will think the job is properly process.  After you reboot, you will have to check Outlook to see if it stored the documents.  If it did not, to email the check stubs again, you would need to void the checks and reprocess them.   Another option instead of voiding is to run a report and email the report.  The Check voucher report in PR, Reports, Check Vouchers, captures the payroll information.  You can run the report for the specific employee and select "Email" to email it to them.  Since this is a report, it does not capture individual employee email information though.  You will need to manually enter their email address for each email.

    Thanks,
