Try turning on fraction cost/ pricing

thats $999,999.99

There maybe a gotcha , in IC - Utilities - maintain IC parameters - there is a setting on decimal places for PARTS costs and  this could be a factor too

Check your parameter settings.  

Fractional costs are regulated in the IC, Utilities, Maintain IC Parameters

• If 'Decimal places for costs' is set to 2 the maximum unit cost would be 999999.00
• If 'Decimal places for costs' is set to 3 the maximum unit cost would be 99999.000
• If 'Decimal places for costs' is set to 4 the maximum unit cost would be 9999.0000

Also review if this is a non-stock part.  There is a setting in there for 'Allow fractional costs for non-stock items'
