HSA and direct deposit

Using BusinessWork 2013 sp6, and using direct deposit file upload to our bank.

We are adding an HSA plan effective July 1, so I'm trying to get things set up in payroll.

How do we (or Can we) do the pre-tax employee deduction and employer contribution with a direct deposit into their HSA account through payroll? 

It's looking like we'll need to do a direct deposit file for the HSA separate from the payroll direct deposit file, but just thought I'd check to see if anyone has figured out a way to make it all work through the payroll direct deposit.

Second related question - how do you get both contributions to show up as a combined total on the W-2?

    Only the employee net pay for those employees set up as direct deposit will be on the direct deposit file.  There is no option to do the HSA on the direct deposit file.  That would need to go thru AP and we do not create a file for AP.

    As long as both the employee and employer deductions are set to use box 12 with code W it will combine them on the W-2
