Windows 10 was just released, so we are just in the process of testing it now. At this time, it is technically not listed as one of our supported operating systems.
Thanks Coleen! Please keep us informed about your Windows 10 and BusinessWorks testing progress. We need to get some new systems and we want to make BusinessWorks with Windows 10 before we get them.
I am working with a client who has BW 2015 installed and running on a small network. They just added an HP notebook computer to the network, running Windows 10. When I attempt to run the client install, at the "Welcome to the Sage Businessworks Setup Wizard" dialog box, when I click on "Next" nothing happens, the install hangs, and I have to kill it with Task Manager. Anyone else having this problem, or suggest a fix? Thanks.
Update: Third attempt worked, despite having made no changes to the system. There are other issues, which I will share when I have more clarity on them.
Rick- We have been able to complete our testing in Windows 10 and it is supported. However there were some reported issues that may occur during the install. If you run into issues either with the instaltion or when launching the program after the installation, it is suggested to reboot the machine. I've read the KB and am still having trouble. I'm able to install BW on my Windows 10 client machine however it will not open. It just hangs in Task manager and never does anything. No error messages, nothing.
