Sage BusinessWorks does not have any videos for using Crystal Reports. Crystal Reports is considered a third party product that is used to access the Sage BusinessWorks files, we have limited information on using that program.

For people looking to write reports using Sage BusinessWorks Data we would recommend the KnowledgeBase Article ID #19339 “Where do I find the Table and Field names?”. There is also one resolution ID:44418 “How to create a connection string in Crystal Report”


If you are looking for additional assistance for using Crystal Reports and writing report, I would recommend working with your local Sage BusinessWorks Partner. If you do not have a partner, please contact Sage BusinessWorks at (800) 447-5700, select option 1 for Client Care. Ask for a list of Sage Business Partners in your area to assist with the Crystal Reports installation

mlman69 - First make sure you logged into the portal with your login and password. Almost all of Sage BusinessWorks Knowledge Base articles require you to be logged into the portal to have access to them. Then go to Search. When in the Knowledge Base, I used the following key words "connection string" or "44418" (but without the quotes) and the resolution appeared.
