Businessworks (Not Responding) message when sending email.

I often get an error message (not responding) when trying to email an invoice or estimate (right after i push the email icon).  BW basically hangs up (the window goes fuzzy) for about 15 seconds, and then it (the email dialog send box) pops up and i can continue with sending the  quote or invoice.  I have this on multiple computers, so i don't believe it's the PC setup.  If I do this directly on the server, it's faster.  I have a gig network and very fast machines.  What's going on here?

    Do you encourage your users to leave open and in the background (Outlook) ? I'm running Outlook 2007, 2010 2013 and 2016 and we don 't see "not responding". Most of our machines are 8GB ram, Win 7 pro on gig network with dedicated server with BW 2015 CS with SP8. I do have a few on Win 8.1 pro and a Win 10 pro. I just checked, the email dialog box takes about 10 seconds to open on my network. ( i used the demo company to check). We also use the latest Adobe Reader. At the time we had 25 tasks running & 8 licenses in use (BW network status)

    Hi Vince. Thks for note. Yes, we leave Outlook running all the time. This isn't consistent. Sometimes the outlook dialog comes right away, sometimes BW is not responding.
