Did you know that Sage Estimating has a Pervasive and SQL option?

Starting in version 13.1, Sage Estimating offers an SQL option that can run alongside its current Pervasive version. The latest version out for Sage Estimating (Pervasive) is 13.1 and the latest version of Sage Estimating (SQL) is 13.2. Here are some FAQ's about these two versions of Estimating.

 Q. Can I run the SQL version of Estimating side-by-side with the Pervasive version of Estimating?

A. Yes. Sage Estimating (Pervasive), version 9.6 or higher, and Sage Estimating (SQL) will run side-by-side on the same machine without conflict.

Q. Does Sage Estimating (SQL) software integrate with Sage 300 Construction (formerly Sage Timberline Office) accounting software?

A. Yes. Sage Estimating (SQL) version 13.2 is compatible with Sage Timberline Office (version 9.8) accounting software.

Q. Besides a SQL Server database, how is the new Sage Estimating different than my current Estimating software?

A. The new Sage Estimating solution has been updated to include a modern user interface as well as some new features not in the current Estimating software. 

Q. If I decide I'd like to migrate from my Sage Estimating (Pervasive) to the new Sage Estimating (SQL) solution, how can I do so?

A. If you are currently using Estimating Extended and are on a support plan, you can choose to continue on your current Estimating software or you can opt to migrate to the new Sage Estimating (SQL) for free.
