Does anyone use S100C to track leads?

SOLVED

We recently began using Sage100c and have been tracking leads and jobs in the pipeline in excel.   When a lead comes in we take note of its source to know what is working to bring them in as well as how many leads we have in a year.   We were hoping to do this in Sage100c instead of excel.      If you have suggestions on your process (and reporting) that would be great!  Thanks in advance!

Sage 100 Contractor can be used to track leads quite effectively. First of all, Receivable Clients can be characterized as Current Clients or Prospects. Client referrals can be tracked through the Referrals table. Every time a revenue opportunity arises, you can create a Job with a Status of 1-Bid. You can use existing date fields for tracking the process from first call through contract or refusal.

With the customizable additional fields that we can create and report out introduced with version 20.5, we can do a lot more than you can do with excel.

Most importantly, figure out what you want to record, track and report. The rest should be quite easy for your certified consultant to help you with.

Thanks Walt.   You inspired me to take a deeper look and I figured out how we will flow our jobs/clients to get the best tracking.  I appreciate your answer!
