How does one Round a formula (mod function) in Sage 100 contractor?
Are you talking about a formula in the "Report Writer" tool?
If so, do a 'right click' on the field you want to round. Then click 'properties'. Then in the 'format' option, select the numerical format you prefer.
That is good to know, but... No... I am speaking of the formulas used for Assemblies and Parts (in this case in the Estimating section.) I need the remainder of formulas (i.e. to deal with scrap for materials used in a part / assembly). I can get there in a couple of ways- using rounding or the mod function.
[ I am disappointed that such common and simple operations as Rounding or Modulo (remainders) do not seem to be a part of Sage 100 Contractor. Math should not be the weak point of a database / accounting program. ]
It appears, after searching the Sage Ideas database, it has been suggested as an improvement to Sage Contractor 100, but it has not received enough votes to be implemented as a common sense solution.

Meanwhile, ability to Round Formula results is not a feature of Sage Contractor 100.
