I am new to Sage and the company. There are years of jobs in the same development being billed to one of two entities when there are actually seven ordering and paying. They've been editing client info each time billing is processed. I would like to create the seven entities and assign jobs to the correct one going forward. (Not sure I can do it to past jobs without a bunch of work)I am receiving support but they want me to change the client number of the two existing ones so the seven can be clustered by number. 

Currently clients are 712 and 747 and they both have job number that matches client number. New grouping would be in 3000s, jobs would start with same first two digits as client, and only this community would use them. I am pretty sure I can't change job 747 to job 3000 without blowing all the connecting records but wonder if can I change the client number on job 747 from 747 to 3000 without affecting the records.
