We are trying to get our ADP payroll data into Sage 100 without having to purchase a 3rd party software. Does anyone know of a way?
After years of wanting to the same thing, our company stumbled on a guy who imports ADP payroll and Paychex payroll into Sage 100 Contractor, but it is a 3rd party software and there's a little bit of front-end work to synchronize your Sage payroll calculations with the ADP calculations. It worked beautifully once all the customization was done and we thought the cost was reasonable to eliminate the staff time preparing the journal entry to record the ADP payroll in Sage.
It's called PayDataLynx and you can Google it to find the "SlimmerSoft" vendor. Basically, you enter your payroll in Sage first, then it exports the payroll up to ADP, ADP processes the payroll and then you import the payroll back into Sage and post it. You don't need to set up any job numbers in ADP to make it happen because your job number is already recorded when you started the pay period in Sage.
Yes! Wright Office Solutions wrote a program for a bridge between ADP and Sage 100 Contractor. No need to replicate payroll. It creates a large Journal entry with all the proper job costs by cost code with employee names. Www.wrightoffice.com
And not as expensive as Slimmersoft.
