Purchase Order not Updating

I want to use a standard purchase order template for an Assembly.  

When a client requests a different item, I Cancel the item on the Standard Purchase Order and replace it with the substituted item.

  

This is the Purchase Order showing the cancelled item and the replacement item.

However, when I attempt to print the Purchase Order, BOTH parts remain on the Purchase Order.

This is what the printed version looks like.

How can I get a Purchase Order to print without the cancelled items or with the cancelled items showing they have been cancelled?
