If the job number is used when entering the payable, it should then show in your job cost reports. We've done it via 4.7.3 as well as a journal entry (debit expense, credit the cc payable account) and as long as the GL account number is for a direct expense it shows up.

Have you used 7-7 Import Credit Card Transactions?  I found it easiest to download the transactions from our credit card website and then copy/paste the entries into the data entry screen.  Job costing is right on that screen versus the old way of having a po-up box in A/P.
