We have sage 100 contractor. I would like to give one of my employees access to one of the sample companies listed in our company list window. The "sample company" shows up in my company list, but not my employees list of companies. How do I get her access without giving access to the actual company full data? I would like her to play around in all the sage modules, without granting access to the actual company books.

Hi David. If you would like her to work with "real" data but not in the production environment, then restore a recent backup of your company but change the restore name to "sandbox" or whatever name you like (restore as). This will create a copy of the company with a different name. The instructions for this process are this Knowledgebase article.

Also put the date of that restore in the company name so you know how old it is later. Or you just have to login to the Sample Co with Co admin rights, and add her login as a user.
