Hi TOSHEA. The second CPP calculation was added to the payroll audit in the December tax update, so after updating you will need to add the EE and ER second CPP (or QPP for Quebec) calculations in 5-3-1. For the Canada edition, we have added tax types 20-21 (CPP) and 22-23 (QPP) for this.

Hello, and thank you for the response. Yes, I have performed the update and added both of those calculations to 5-3-1 before my first payroll last week. I tried updating the calculations for all employees to eliminate that possibility, but I still receive the same error when trying to perform the audit for 2023. Edit: I should add that the audit for 2024 works just fine.

Did you close the payroll year in 5-3-8 or archive it in Database Administration?

Yes, I closed the year in 5-3-8.

So, even after you added the CPP calculations in 5-3-1 and to all employees, when you choose the "prior year" option in the audit, you still get the error? But you do not get it when you leave the option unchecked in the audit?

That is correct exactly as you have written it.
