From what i am being told there is no way to link vacation pay/PTO "paid time off" to a liability account straight from payroll.
It would be nice to have a liability account "PTO Accrual" tied to a payroll calculation that accrues the liability and then have the pay type 5-"vacation" pull directly from the liability account.
I am being told the only way to do this is to do a journal entry each time you pay out the PTO.
Does anyone know of a way to make the software do this?
