Hello NE Masonry - Yes, you can change the default posting period back to Dec 2015 if you need to, as long as you have not archived the 2015 fiscal year. Note this will now be the default period for any window for all users. Also, be aware that once you change the posting period in any window (like 4-2 or 1-3), it will stay on that period for all new transactions until you close that window. It will revert back to the default if you close and reopen that window.

Go to 1-6, click Change Period, then change the year to 2015, and select Dec 2015. You must logged into the company with Exclusive Access to do this.
