Using a workstation computer as a Sage Server - How to map a local folder on the c:/ drive

SUGGESTED

We're using a workstation computer as a Sage Server .

How would we map the MB7 file to a local folder on the c:/ drive?

This one is a little tricky because Windows won't let you map network drives to its own local hard drive. You would unfortunately need to create a separate partition of the hard drive on a single workstation for each separate company file you wanted to create (this can be a bit cumbersome and can easily wipe existing hard drive data so be careful). So for each partition of the local hard drive, you can then have a separate MB7 folder at the first level.

Or, it may be easier to purchase separate physical hard drive(s) themselves and install either one large one that you split up for the separate companies, or multiple if you'd rather have one for each company.
