New to Sage 300 CRE

I'm looking for a users guide for this software, does anyone know if there is such a thing?  I have 40 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping and am new to this software.  I would like to know the nuances of how this works and how the modules tie in to the GL.  I worked with Skyline for the last 10 years and I think Sage is not far off that.  Help please!

  • Hi Sharon,

I would start with the help files. For most applications within S300CRE, they are quite extensive and are laid out like a training manual. There are also workbooks available if you attend Sage classes. Many times, I am commissioned to created custom manuals for customers who are looking for their specific workflows to be mapped out.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

In any Sage 300 CRE application (except Sage Desktop) Select, HELP, PRODUCT DOCUMENTS. That will take you to a link on our web site where you can find all of the release documents. These are not user's guides that step you through how the program works though. The Help files are a good place to start. You can order the workbooks that are provided in training classes from your local Sage Business Partner.
