Operating system requirements for Sage 300 16.1.

I was reading about the hardware requirements for 16.1. Our server 2012 R2 has 1.6 Ghz processor as does most of our windows 7 workstations. Support just read me the same specs I saw in the installation notes. Does anyone know if 16.1 will run on server 2012 R2 with only a 1.6 Ghz processor and windows 7 with same speed? I hate to spend tens of thousands of dollars to replace all of our hardware.

Yes, but more CRE people read the CRE forum. Sage really blew it when they gave two completely different software packages the same number.

If you're coming from 15.1 to 16.1, the processor speed requirements are the same. So if 15.1 is running ok, I would think 16.1 will too.
